Views in Ester
A view is a way to see your risk sources from a specific purpose. The risk sources are always listed in the same table — it is which columns are displayed that changes when you switch views. This way, you can quickly focus on just the information that is relevant for what you are about to do.
Why are there predefined views?Ester comes with a number of views created by Intersolia — each with a clear purpose. The idea is the same as with quick filters: you shouldn't have to configure the right information from scratch every time. The views are packaged opinions on what information is relevant in a given context.
A flammability review requires different information than a review of supplier data. Instead of you having to know which columns are relevant, Intersolia has made that judgement for you.
Combination with quick filtersViews and quick filters are independent of each other and can be combined freely. You choose what you see (view) and what you filter on (quick filter) separately — which gives great flexibility without having to build up your workspace from scratch every time.
Available views- Status & risk — operational status, risk level and location
- Basic information — supplier, product number and SDS
- Extended information — alternative names, hazard pictograms and hazard class
- Flammability information — flash point, physical state and hazard labelling
- Hazard information — hazard aspects such as pictograms and hazard class
- Additional views can be accessed via the dropdown menu at the far right of the tab row
If you click on a risk source in the list, a detail page opens with all linked information gathered — primary documents, locations, hazard symbols, hazard statements and composition.
