Exporting your chemical data from Ester
You can export your chemical registry, SDS list, and risk assessments at any time — for audits, reporting, or migration purposes.
What you can export
- Chemical registry — All registered chemicals with properties, quantities, and locations
- SDS library — All SDS documents with metadata (supplier, revision date, language)
- Risk assessments — Completed assessments in PDF or spreadsheet format

How to export
- Go to the section you want to export (e.g., Chemicals or SDS library).
- Click Export in the top-right corner.
- Select a format — CSV or Excel for registry data, PDF for assessments.
- Click Download.
Large exports may take a moment. If the file takes more than 30 seconds to generate, you'll receive an email with a download link.
Data retention
Ester retains all data for the duration of your subscription. After cancellation, you have 30 days to export before data is permanently deleted.
